Biokinetics is the Science of movement.

Zelda Lamprecht

Owner / Biokineticist

Zelda is the founding member of the practice, completing her BA (Hons) Sport Science at the University of Pretoria in 1999 and her BSc (Hons) Biokinetics at the University of Zululand in 2000. She also has various qualifications in the fitness, sport and business fields. She is registered with the Health professions council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA). She is working with orthopaedic-, cardiac-, sports rehabilitation, diabetes, and hydrotherapy.

In addition, she works as Biokineticist and Conditioning Specialist for the South African Korfball Team since 2009.

She used to lecture for the International Institute for Fitness Instructors (IIFT)(2010-2015). She participates in road running and cycling on a recreational level. She can also lose herself in a good book and travelling the world.

Kaylee Prentice

Biokineticist

Kaylee grew up in Nelspruit (Mpumalanga) and completed her undergraduate degree in Human Movement Science with Sport Coaching at North-West University in 2021. She then completed her Honours in Biokinetics at Wits University in 2023.
She believes in the power of movement to transform lives, which is why she is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life through rehabilitation and exercise.
Kaylee has a special interest in working with chronic conditions and high-performance training with young athletes. She enjoys guiding young athletes to reach their full potential while also supporting individuals managing long-term health conditions through movement.
An active individual herself, Kaylee has a background in competitive swimming. She was also a gymnastics coach throughout her studies. She enjoys staying fit through outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends

Idane De Jager

Biokineticist

Idane is originally from Bloemfontein and completed her degree in 2023 at the University of the Free State.

She always had a great interest in Biokinetics and is very passionate about using exercise as medicine.

In school se participated in athletics, cross country and cheerleading and strongly believes that her love for Biokinetics started with her love for sport. She loves trying new sports and started playing squash in her first year of university.

She not only loves sport but have a creative side as well. She enjoys singing, drawing and doing anything creative. In her free time she loves playing pool, dancing and trying new restaurants.
